“We are brothers and owners, Joe and Ollie Brack. We first came up with our business plan for Brack Burger during the pandemic when we had some time on our hands, with bars and clubs being closed and restrictions in place.” - Joe Brack
From Pints to Patties: The Brack Burger Story
“The Jubilee pub in Gosforth, run by our dad, had to temporarily close its doors due to the lockdown”. This unexpected pause led to Joe, then 24, who was previously involved in running club events and marketing (pre-covid), and the talented Chef Ollie, then 22 and still working at Virgin Money, to adapt and come up with the idea of a new takeout service, utilising the pub's kitchen while it was out of service. And so Brack Burger was born, which marked the beginning of a class journey. Fast forward, now we run in 5 locations across the North East and are looking to grow even more in 2024 onwards.
Absolutely Buzzin’: Award Winning Success in 2023
In 2023, winning the prestigious North East Restaurant of the Year award and being one of the ten finalists to reach London from across the UK has propelled the brand to popularity in the North East. The Brack brothers attribute this success to the love and support from family, friends, and a loyal customer base.
