Summer plans for Sunderland’s innovative shipping container site are already underway, as STACK Seaburn announce a headline event to close out June’s four day Bank Holiday Weekend.

The social hub – well known for its schedule of daily entertainment and live acts – have announced plans to welcome the UK’s number one George Michael tribute artist for a ticketed event on Sunday 5 June 2022.

Rob Lamberti – famous for appearances on the live final of ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ and ‘America’s Got Talent’ – has also been hired by George Michael’s management to promote the 25Live album, giving fans across the globe the chance to see George’s musical talent, charisma and passion embodied once again.

And now his show, complete with some of George Michael’s personal musicians, will take centre stage at STACK Seaburn to celebrate one of the greatest singer-songwriters of our time.

Early bird tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday 1 April at 10am. Tickets will be priced from £15 plus booking fee per person.

Kevin Walker, Entertainments Director believes the show will be hugely popular.

 “We are delighted to welcome Rob Lamberti and his fabulous show to STACK Seaburn. Not only does Rob sound like George Michael, but his resemblance is so great, that it needs to be seen in person,” he said.

“The show will finish off our Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend plans celebrating the ‘Best of British’, and we’re certain it will be a fantastic evening for all.”

Entry to the event will be from 7pm and tables will be on a first come, first serve basis. All street food vendors will be open serving their full menus.

Early Bird tickets for Rob Lamberti – A Celebration of the Songs and Music of George Michael will be limited and are available to buy online at www.stackseaburn.com.

Once early bird tickets are sold out, they will go on general release.
